Our Primary Years Program G1-G5 Elementary school class (1st-5th grade)

The primary school program focuses on two main areas of instruction.
Reading ability and early communication ability. Reading Comprehension ( Main application of reading comprehension and phonics)・ The main target is to make it easy to read even words that contain letters without sounds.  From there, move on to the whole sentence, step by step, to develop the ability to read the entire paragraph, and eventually the entire story, by yourself.  As a home lesson, each student will have a four-level reading program at their own pace. As you progress through the levels, you will be given a listening and writing test to check your reading and comprehension skills. I will also report the results to my parents. Next to this method is the Daily 5 program (home study). The Daily Five Program 1. Raed to aloud to yourself Read aloud yourself 2. Read to aloud to someone else Read aloud to someone 3. Listen to someone reading Listen to someone reading 4. Do word work (set by the teacher) Work on a task firmly (by instructor guidance) 5. Work on writing (″) Work on a writing task (″)

This is a system where students who have completed the four-level reading program introduced at the beginning will move to this program. I will continue to do my homework, but I will ask you to teach properly in each class before taking it home.
It makes sense to practice the above five key points repeatedly for a short time each week. Early Communicative Competence We will improve communication skills by doing group work using key words and key phrases that appear in the text for each lesson. (The previous review will also be done in the same style.) This is the key point of conversation sentences, such as speaking aloud to each other in a group or a one-to-one group, and doing Q & A repeatedly, The purpose is to catch the flow. These speaking tasks aim to reproduce situations similar to those that can occur in real life or on the road. We also use card games and picture books to keep our lessons fun and smiling. You can also see the results of the lessons at the UN Eiken Junior Test, which is held twice a year mainly for elementary school students.
Our Primary & JHS Program (G5-G9) Elementary school upper grades and junior high school classes

From the fifth grade, which is in the upper grades of elementary school, you will be able to take both English conversation classes taught by native speakers and grammar classes taught by Japanese students.
This class is offered every two weeks and is available once a week. (Junior high school students take 90 minutes lessons and take English conversation and grammar on the same day.)
Each lesson will be conducted using textbooks (including workbooks). Pre-Intermediate Communicative Competence (Communication skills ‹Intermediate English Conversation›) This lesson will move to a more focused textbook, which is completely different from the lessons of the previous grades, and will be done only by native speaker teachers. I will teach pronunciation correctly and improve my ability to understand simple grammatical expressions and English expressions. You will learn not only your listening skills, but also your riding skills and speaking skills at the same time. (Listening to the text may be added as homework.) Grammar / Comprehension (Grammar (Understanding)) This lesson will be taught by a Japanese teacher. Among elementary school students, we will learn the basics of grammar that are required for the first grade of junior high school, and prepare for junior high school English. When you become a junior high school student, you will use a workbook that is textbook-compliant. We also take regular test measures. In this lesson, I aim to give homework every time and quickly establish what I have learned. If necessary, we will also review the already completed units. In some cases, a word test or mini test is conducted for each point.

UN Eiken Junior Test School Our school conducts Eiken junior tests
twice a year sponsored by the United Nations.
Since this is a junior test, it is mainly a listening test, but as the level goes up, it is a test that requires questions and answers, reading comprehension, and comprehension that cannot be answered only by listening. Before the test, take some time to prepare for the EIKEN and prepare for the test.
You can also see the results of your communication skills in this test. In this way, we are making efforts to improve the English ability of each student in various ways. If possible, parents will encourage the children to attend the lessons every week, and even praise them for their attendance, which will make them feel at ease and continue to the next step. Moreover, you can keep the lesson smooth. Thank you for your cooperation.
